The Barnards Farm garden has been created since 1975 from farmland surrounding a Georgian farmhouse (not open to the public). The garden incorporates life sized bronzes, kinetic and static sculptures, pots, brick and willow mazes, herbaceous borders, 17 hectares of grounds, ponds, a lake, developing woodland, an arboretum, a Eurowood (in the shape of the euro symbol), a living wall, the national malus (crab apple) collection, a Japanese garden, a long avenue, a bog garden, a belvedere, a small museum, a parterre and ornamental vegetable garden.
Special features: If you come by plane, you are "always welcome" - the farm has its own airstrip (phone first!)
